Universal Studios Singapore To Get New "Minion Land" Zone With 3D Ride, Themed Eateries, Merch Store & More
If you’ve ever visited Universal Studios Singapore (USS), one of your lasting memories there would probably be being greeted by the happy dancing animal mascots of Madagascar. After all, that’s one of the first zones you’ll encounter upon entering, and it’s always been part of the park’s original map - long before other attractions like the Transformers ride came into play.
But the time has since come for Alex, Julien, and friends to “move it, move it” - their last day in Singapore will be on 27 March 2022, after which they’ll be heading home to make way for USS’ newest zone: Minion Land.

While the Minions have made countless appearances at Universal Studios Singapore, Minion Land will be the very first themed zone here specifically dedicated to the adorably rotund characters and their antics.
Along with this new zone comes multiple new rides and attractions, including immersive hyper-realistic 3D ride Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, as well as others exclusive to Universal Studios Singapore.

There will also be themed souvenir shops and eateries so you can get your full fix of Minion-themed goodness - be it merchandise or food.

For now, you can still party like an animal with Madagascar’s creatures with One Last Boogie! - a $78 Madagascar Farewell Special (U.P. $98) which you can enjoy from 10 to 27 March 2022. This will entail a 1-day adult ticket for Universal Studios, $20 worth of Madagascar retail vouchers, and a $10 F&B voucher. The vouchers do not require a minimum spend.
Other highlights include meet and greets, dazzling floats as part of the night parade, and themed food and drinks at the F&B outlets. This will also be your last chance to hop on the “Madagascar: A Crate Adventure” ride before it closes for good.
